Telford Volunteer Fire Company Launches 2026 Annual Fund Drive
The Telford Volunteer Fire Company has officially launched its 2026 Annual Fund Drive, with donation letters being mailed to residents and businesses throughout the service area.
The annual campaign helps fund the daily operations of the fire company, which is 100% volunteer and proudly serves the Telford community. Donations play a critical role in covering essential costs such as firefighting equipment, training, emergency vehicles, repairs, and facility maintenance.
In recent years, the demand for emergency services has continued to rise. Emergency response calls have steadily increased, reaching 428 responses in 2025, up from 394 in 2024, 339 in 2023, 315 in 2022, and 293 in 2021. This growth underscores the importance of maintaining well-trained personnel and properly equipped apparatus to meet the community’s needs.
Residents who receive the donation letter are reminded that 100% of their contribution goes directly toward supporting fire department operations. The mailing includes a convenient return envelope, and donors also have the option to contribute electronically through PayPal or Venmo.
