Last week we got together for Our Community Members of Franconia and surrounding areas. Telford Fire Company 75 recently had the opportunity to team up with Franconia Police Department to assist with a vehicle rescue demonstration as part of their Citizen’s Police Academy at Franconia Police Dept.
Participants got a hands-on look at the tools, techniques, and teamwork that go into safely removing victims from a vehicle during an emergency. From stabilization to extrication, our crews walked through the critical steps we take to protect and rescue those in need.
Events like this are a great way to build stronger relationships between our emergency services and the community we proudly serve. We’re grateful for the chance to share our knowledge and give residents a behind-the-scenes look at what we do.
A big thank you to the police department for inviting us to be part of this experience—we always value the opportunity to train together and strengthen our partnership!
