In Loving Memory of Life Member James (Jim) Charles Thomas Sr.
It is with deep sorrow we announce the passing of Life Member James (Jim) Charles Thomas Sr. Born in Philadelphia on November 24, 1946 and passed away December 12th 2025 at St. Luke’s Hospital, Grand View Campus at the age of 79.
Jim joined the Telford Fire Company back on December 12, 1978, and passed away on December 12, 2025; 47 years to the day. He joined as a firefighter, served as Secretary, Financial Secretary and participated in several committees. As he grew older he moved over from being a firefighter to becoming a Fire Police Officer. Jim was very devoted and served us well. He was also a member or the Montgomery County Fireman’s Association and the State Fireman’s Association. Jim also was a life member of the North Penn Goodwill Service of Souderton since 1971 serving as their President until his passing. Our deepest sympathy goes out to Jim’s family. He will be profoundly missed by all that knew him.
A Memorial Service will be at 11:00 AM on Friday December 19, at the Sadler-Suess Funeral Home, 33 N. Main St. Telford, PA. Family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until the time of the service at the funeral home. Interment will be private.
