Telford Fire Company Joins Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade with Air 75 and Engine 75

Lansdale, PA — November 22, 2025
The streets of Lansdale came alive today as thousands gathered for the 74th Annual Mardi Gras Parade, a beloved tradition that kicks off the holiday season in the North Penn community. Among the more than 100 parade entries, the Telford Fire Company proudly showcased its Air Truck and Engine, adding excitement and community spirit to the festivities.

The parade, organized by Discover Lansdale, featured a vibrant mix of marching bands, dance troupes, floats, and emergency service vehicles. This year’s theme embraced “All of the Holidays,” encouraging participants to celebrate everything from Mardi Gras and Christmas to Diwali and Hanukkah. Telford Fire Company’s presence highlighted the essential role local fire departments play in community events beyond emergency response.

Before the parade began, members of the Telford Fire Company gathered for a hearty breakfast together—a tradition that fosters camaraderie and teamwork. Sharing a meal gave the crew a chance to relax, connect, and prepare for the day’s festivities before rolling out with Air 75 and Engine 75 to join the parade lineup.

As the trucks made their way down Main Street, gleaming in the autumn sun, crowds cheered and waved. For Telford’s firefighters, the event was more than a parade—it was an opportunity to connect with residents, share safety messages, and demonstrate their commitment to serving the community year-round.

“Being part of the Lansdale Mardi Gras Parade is always a highlight for us,” said a Telford Fire Company Firefighter. “It’s a chance to celebrate with our neighbors and show the equipment and teamwork that keep our community safe.”

The parade concluded at Memorial Park, where families enjoyed warm drinks, treats, and holiday activities. As always, Santa Claus made his grand entrance, escorted by local fire companies—a tradition that signals the start of the holiday season in Lansdale.

We extend our gratitude to all the volunteer members who dedicated their time and energy to make today’s parade participation possible. From gathering early for breakfast to preparing the Air Truck and Engine for the event, your commitment and teamwork truly embody the spirit of service.

Your willingness to show up—not just in emergencies but also in community celebrations—demonstrates the strength and heart of our fire company. Thank you for representing Telford with pride and for continuing to keep our community safe and connected.
