Telford Ladder 75 was purchased from Pierce Manufacturing in 2009 and is a 2007 Pierce HAL 100’ aluminum aerial ladder with a 750 lb. capacity, tip controls, and a remote controlled pre-piped waterway capable of flowing more than 1,000 gallons of water per minute. It is built on a pierce Dash Chassis with seating for six, it has side roll protection, TAK4 independent front suspension, Command Zone electronic controls, air conditioning, rear view camera, automatic snow chains, and is powered by a Detroit Diesel Series 60 515 hp. engine and an Allison automatic transmission. It has a Harrison 10Kw hydraulic generator, power cord reel, and three 1000 watt lights. The truck carries 200’ of portable ladders, 5 power saws, thermal imaging camera, 4 gas meter, rescue ropes and equipment, 4 ventilation fans, salvage equipment, and many hand tools.
Interestingly, the truck was a factory demonstration model that was purchased by the Telford fire company in 2009 at a significant cost savings over a new custom built truck. This truck was used in the filming of the popular FX television series ‘Rescue Me’ during its’ fourth season starring  Dennis Leary.
